Bind & Protect™ (previously known as Safeguard EQ) takes equine digestive support to the next level. This pelleted mineral compound and yeast extract formula may assist in the quick and effective absorption of mycotoxins, a secondary compound produced by certain fungi. The horse’s digestive system is sensitive to the effects of mycotoxins, as the gastric juices in the stomach cannot effectively deactivate them, potentially allowing access to the small intestine and hindgut. Once in the hindgut, they may affect the intestinal wall or enter the horse’s bloodstream, which can result in poor health.
